Nice CSS scroller, eh? It still has a problem, though.
The fading at the top and bottom is done using a gradient from "black" to "transparent".
This works nicely, as long as the background is a solid black.
Adding a background image (stars) breaks it, because the fading gradient becomes visible.
The best solution I have so far is to cheat, by placing the stars infront of the text and giving them about 50% opacity.
Use the "Toggle" in the top right corner to compare.
Is there a way to fade the text, other than overpainting it with the background color? Somehow use the image itself combined with that opacity gradient?
